Patricia Marion Pattern
Original Design
Patricia Marion is a 20 inch rag doll
pattern which is easy for the beginning dollmaker to complete, but would also be enjoyable for the more
experienced dollmaker. The head construction in this pattern is a modification of the
Japanese style of dollmaking. I started using this construction method on all my dolls
about a year ago after reading Storybook Dolls: Stuffed Dolls to Make & Treasure
by Kyoko Yoneyoma. This technique makes a very stable neck area and thus a great
doll for a childs toy. Though it requires some hand stitching to attach the head to
the body, the finished doll is well worth the effort.
Pattern includes detailed instructions, full size pattern pieces, and full-color
cover so you can clearly see the finished project. The pattern is packaged in a re-closeable poly-bag.
This pattern is an original design of Cathy Lawrence of Cloth Dolls by
Stitch 'N Stuff. You may use our patterns to make items for your personal use or to sell at local craft

for the design on your hang tag or any advertising. You may not reproduce this pattern for sale or mass
produce products made from this pattern.
