Recently while cleaning my great aunt’s house, I found a doll kit from the 1920s that
was partly finished. Many pieces were missing as were the directions for assembly, but
the embroidery directions were still with the kit. Such an innocent face, I knew that I
had to try to design what I thought the "missing" pieces might have been like and put it
together as a pattern for others to enjoy. This "sweetie" has directions and pattern
pieces for the dress and bloomers just as you see in her picture. If you make the clothes
removable you can create a whole wardrobe of dresses and bloomers! What a wonderful
child’s "friend" and what an adorable addition to your sofa or chair. She just makes
you want to smile!
