I saw a picture of a vintage doll on eBay and loved the simplicity of her so
I decided to design a doll that is very similar. The simple embroidered features
make this an easy doll for anyone who prefers to not paint faces. Her hands have
individual fingers, but in an effort to make the doll easy for a beginning dollmaker, the pattern also includes a mitt-type hand that can be used instead.
The face template that is included in my
pattern can also be used to paint the facial features. However, painting
instructions are not included with this pattern. This doll will make a
lovable friend for a child, but would be equally as nice to decorate a small
corner of your home.
You may use this pattern to make this project for your
personal use or to sell at local craft shows in limited quantities. The only
requirement is that you credit Cloth Dolls by Stitch 'N Stuff for the design on your hang
tag or any advertising. You may not reproduce this pattern for sale or mass
produce products made from this pattern. |
