Our 18 inch doll is made entirely of cloth with several layers of
gesso and acrylic medium. Her face, arms and legs are hand-painted
and acrylic sealer has been applied for protection. The lace trim
is hand-crocheted.
This doll design was inspired by the Izannah Walker dolls of the mid
to late 19th Century. Her clothing is designed to reflect the styles
of that era and are completely removable.
