“Sarah Grace” - 24” original design
lady dressed in early to mid 1800’s style -- a fully lined wool hat, grosgrain ribbon
trim/ties, dress with the sleeves gathered in several rows, full slip and pantaloons
with lace trim and flannel underskirt. Closures are vintage buttons--shoes are
hand-painted. She is made of cloth--some needle-sculpting--several layers of gesso
and acrylic modeling paste, acrylic paint and several layers of clear latex enamel
for protection--sanding between each layer.
